Still

Photography
2 Point the camera at the subject and press (photo).
The shutter sound is played, then the still image is captured and saved.
3 To view the still image you have just taken, press .
The still image you captured appears.
•
Press (OK) to return to the Still Image Photography screen.
•
Alternatively, you can select “latest data” from the submenu to view it.
•
You can continue taking still images without viewing.
•
The still image you took cannot be displayed after you cancel saving it,
delete the latest data, display “camera album”, or finish taking still images.
•
You can also view the still images from “camera album” (see p.160).
■ To set a title for the still image
• You cannot perform these on still images saved in the
Memory Stick Duo.

Select “edit title” from the submenu.
•
Follow Steps 2 - 3 in Editing the image title (see p.167).

Rotating a still image
•
You cannot perform this operation on still images saved in the Memory Stick Duo, or still
images of photo sizes of “VGA”, “SXGA” “UXGA”, and “2Mpixel”.

•
Each time is pressed, a still image rotates to the left by 90 degrees.
•
Alternatively, you can select “rotate” from the submenu. Follow Step 3 in Rotating images
(see p.178).
•
When you rotate a still image of the “wallpaper” or “i-shot(L)” size by 90 degrees left/right,
you can toggle between reduction and enlargement of the image by pressing
(change).
■ To change the compression mode for still images
•
You cannot perform these on still images saved in the Memory Stick Duo, and still images of
photo size “SXGA”, “UXGA”, or “2Mpixel”.

Select “compress mode” from the submenu.

Follow Step 3 in Changing the compression mode (see p.181).

To change the image size for still images
•
You cannot perform this operation on still images saved in the Memory Stick Duo, still images
of the “i-shot(S)” size, and still images taken in the Burst mode.
•
You cannot change an image to a size larger than the current image size.

■ Deleting a still image

Select “delete one” from the submenu.
•
Alternatively, you can press and hold down .

Select “YES” and press (select).
•
To cancel the operation, select “NO”.
■
To select and save a single shot from still images taken in the Burst mode (Best Shot)
•
To view the still images you took in the Burst mode, select them from “camera album”
(see p.160).
