a specified period of time elapses. After the Standby screen reappears, you can manually quit i-mode
standby by pressing

Reloading an image that could not be received

When images in Messages are not received properly you can reload them.

•

Reloading cannot be performed from auto-displayed Messages. First close the Message 
auto-display screen and then perform the procedure.

•

When the Image Display setting is off, the image is not displayed even if you reload it.

•

You cannot perform this operation when outside the i-mode service area.

You are connected to the i-mode center and image
download starts.

•

If there are no images that could not be downloaded
(indicated by 

or 

), you cannot select “reload”.

•

If there are no images in the site or the images are too
large to be received, you cannot display the images
even if you reload the Message.

Display a Message to be reloaded and select “reload” from the submenu.

Indicates that the

received.

Protecting Messages

•

Maximum number of Messages that can be protected: 10 Message Rs, 5 Message Fs

•

Unread Messages cannot be protected.

•

An auto-displayed Message cannot be protected. First close the Message auto-display screen
and then perform the procedure.

Select a Message in the Message list, and select “protect” from the submenu.

The Message is now protected and the icon changes to one with 

attached.

•

This operation can also be performed from the Message
display screen.

To cancel protection, select a protected Message and then select “unprotect” from the
