Preventing Unauthorized Access to Inmail Box/Outmail Box
This function makes it possible to access the Inmail box/Outmail box after entering
your terminal ID.
•
If you select “yes”, it is required to enter your terminal ID when displaying mail items saved in
the Private Diary.

In standby, select “setting” “privacy” “mail security” from the menu.

Alternatively, you can select “setting” “mail setting” from the menu.
•
You can also select “mail” “mail setting” from the menu.

Enter your 4-digit terminal ID number.

Select “1.yes” and press (select).
The Mail Security setting is set.

To cancel the setting, select “2. no”.

When mail security is on, the terminal ID is not required to view mail inside folders set as secret. However,
when viewing folders set as secret from Jump Menu, the terminal ID is required.
•
When mail security is turned on, the Inspiration window does not display the sender’s name, address and
the subject when mail is received regardless of the Caller Information setting (see p.209).

When Mail Security is on, a mail interlocked type i-

ppli programs cannot be downloaded.
(Except when using existing folder in Outmail Box and Inmail Box without changing the folder name.)
