Making i-mode Settings (continued)

In standby, select “i-mode setting” 

“set scroll” from the i-mode menu.

•

Alternatively, you can select “setting” 

“i-mode setting” from the menu.

•

You can also select “i-mode STNG” from the submenu while displaying a site, Screen memo, or
a Message.

Select “1.1 line scroll” or “2.3 lines scroll” and press 

(select).

Setting the number of lines scrolled

You can set the number of lines scrolled using 

when an entire site, Screen memo,

mail, or Message does not fit in one screen.

[Default] 1 line scroll

[Set CA Certificate]

Setting CA certificate validity

Certificates from Certificate Authorities (CAs) are used to check whether an SSL
(Secure Socket Layer) page is secure. If you are unsure of the validity of the CA
certificate, you can invalidate it.

•

5 CA certificates are stored in your mova.

•

When a CA certificate is invalidated, the SSL page using that CA certificate cannot be displayed.

•

It is not usually necessary to invalidate a CA certificate.

•

SSL pages and CA certificates (see p.274)

“CA certificate” from the i-mode menu.

Alternatively, you can select “setting” 

“i-mode setting” from the menu.

You can also select “i-mode STNG” from the submenu while displaying a site, Screen memo, or

When you set this while displaying a site, the setting takes effect from the next SSL
communication.

The CA certificate holder, the information of an issuer, the end date of the
expiration, and serial number appear. (Displayed information may differ
slightly depending on the CA certificate.)
