Instead of using the keys, you can shoot still images or take video using your voice,
which are recorded in advance.

•

You can register one voice data for about 0.4 to 2 seconds long.

•

You cannot register a voice data immediately after the end of a call. Wait for about 5 seconds
before saving it.

•

Please note the following:

・

The recording should be done in a quiet place (for example, a quiet room without TV and

chats).

・

It is recommended to use a word consisting of 3 to 5 syllables. Also, since our pronunciation

may not be constant, avoid selecting an unfamiliar words.

・

Open the mova, hold it face to face, and speak clearly as possible, from about 15 cm to the

microphone. Do not record in too loud or too low voices.

・

Take care not to block the microphone with your finger.

・

Do not emit noise which is unnecessary for the voice data: cough, “er...”, tut-tutting, breathing

noise, etc.

・

Speak so that there are no long pauses. If you speak too slowly, pauses may be recognized

as a silence, and the voice data could not be processed properly. Register voice data without
long pauses.When there are long pauses, only the word before pause may be registered and
in that case, the Voice shutter is activated in the middle of the word you have spoken in
shooting. Besides, a short word registered is liable to respond to surrounding sounds or similar
words.

Registering voice data

In standby, press

and select “set camera”.

•

Alternatively, you can select “camera”

“set camera” from the menu.

•

In the Still Image Photography screen or the Video Photography screen, you can also press

or select “set camera” from the submenu.

Select “2.store voice data” and press

(select).

to display the “set camera (main)” screen, select the “voice shutter”

field and press

(select).

The Voice Shutter screen appears.

The recording screen appears.

•

If a voice data has been already recorded, a prompt appears asking whether
to overwrite it. Select “YES” or “NO” and press

(select).

To delete the voice data

To cancel the operation, select “NO”.
