What is i-shot? (continued)

Sender (indicates i-shot transmission):
Always “[email protected]”

Sender’s information:
Your (sender’s) mobile phone number, etc. is inserted at the beginning of the mail
body.

■

When the sender does not subscribe to i-mode or the sender subscribes to i-mode but adds
“/NUM/” (double-byte or single-byte) at the beginning of the subject line

At the i-shot center, the following information is added to the i-shot mail you sent and then the mail is
delivered to the recipient. (The example below assumes you are sending i-shot mail to an i-mode
compatible mobile phone.)

URL for image:
Appended to the end of the mail body. The recipient selects the URL and presses

(select) to download the image from the i-shot center.

Storage period for image

Note1: In the above case, an error message is not returned when the i-shot mail cannot be sent

correctly for reasons such as an unknown address.

Note2: Replies to i-shot mail do not reach the other party.

•

If you forward an i-shot mail item you received to another PC or other operator’s mobile phone, the
recipient cannot display the image.

•

The recipient incurs packet communication charges for the characters automatically added at the i-shot
center.
