When you type in a part of the reading, your mova predicts the rest of the reading and possible
phrases to convert, and displays the predicted results in the conversion list. Select a phrase you want
from the conversion list and fix it. When you enter a character or two following the fixed phrase, the
mova predicts and displays converted phrases again, thus eliminating the need to enter the rest of the
reading.
•
To use this function, you need to set “refer history” in the Predictive Conversion setting. “refer
history” is set by default (see p.566).
•
If the memory becomes full, the entries are deleted starting from the oldest one.
•
The conversion list displays the saved words or the words of user dictionary. However, not all words
are displayed. The displaying words changes by the learning status or search criteria. To display
words from the user dictionary, you must first enable the user dictionary setting.

You can use Predictive Conversion by entering “

”.

If you enter text string without dakuten or handakuten marks, text strings
with them are also displayed. However, if you enter text string with
dakuten or handakuten marks, text strings without them are not displayed.
•
In some cases, you may see a text string even if you mistype dakuten and
handakuten marks or type your upper- and lower-cases mixed up.
Example:

Enter “ バンダ ” → “ パンダ ” appears.
・
Enter “ がんぱろう ” → “ 頑張ろう ” appears.
・ Enter “ はんた ” → “ 半田 ” and “ パンダ ” appears.

If you select and press (fix), the conversion list disappears.
“ ありがとう ” is fixed.
When you enter one or more characters, the predicted phrases to come
after “
ありがとう ” are displayed.
