You can enter a phone number in the Standby screen and use it as the mail recipient.
•
This procedure can only be used when the mail address of the other party is “<phone number>
@docomo.ne.jp”.

In standby, enter the phone number for the other party and press .
The compose mail screen appears. The entered phone number is entered in the “to 1” field.
•
You can also start composing mail by displaying a phone number entered in Scratch Pad.
2 Compose mail and send it.

Follow Steps 2 - 5 in Composing and Sending i-mode Mail (see p.322).
Composing mail from the phone number you entered using the numeric keys

You can also compose mail by selecting a recipient from the Phonebook search results, Redial data or Call
history and selecting “compose MEL” from the submenu.

You can also compose mail by performing one of the following from the Phonebook details display screen:
•
Display a mail address and press (compose)
• Display a mail address or phone number and press
•
Display a mail address or phone number and select “compose MSG” from the submenu
When you compose mail with a phone number displayed, the phone number is set in the “to 1” field. To
set a mail address, display the mail address.

You can easily compose mail from the Re-mail data or Inmail history (see p.359).
