Before using i-shot
•
The “i-shot (S) 120x120” and “i-shot (L) 288x352” sized images can be sent.
•
You cannot send images downloaded using i-mode or saved as Screen memos.
•
Only one image can be sent per mail item regardless of the image data size.
•
You can send up to 30 KB of image data.
Images you can send
A different communication method is used for i-shot transmission (circuit switching) than for i-mode mail
(packet communication). For that reason, like voice calls, the communication charges you incur are
based on the communication time rather than the amount of data sent.
•
The communication charge differs depending on the size of the image sent and the billing plan you
use.
•
The time required for transmission and the associated communication charges may differ depending
on signal conditions.
•
You may be charged even when i-shot transmission is interrupted due to poor signal conditions.

Appended to the end of the mail body. The recipient selects the URL and presses
(select) to download the image from the i-shot center.
■ When the sender subscribes to i-mode
At the i-shot center, the URL for the image and storage period information are added to the i-shot mail
you sent and then the mail is delivered to the recipient. (The example below assumes you are
sending i-shot mail to an i-mode compatible mobile phone.)

Note: An error message is returned when i-shot mail could not be sent correctly for reasons such as
an unknown address.
