The maximum number of stored mail items and the length of time they can be stored in the i-mode center
are given below.
•
When the maximum storage time is reached, mail is deleted.
•
When the maximum number of mail items is reached, the i-mode center does not accept new mail and new
mail is returned to the sender with an error message. At this time,
or appears on your i-mode
compatible mobile phone (see p.13). If Receive Option is on, and does not appear even when the
maximum number of mail items is reached.

You can use the Check New Message function to check for mail stored at the i-mode center (see p.338).
When a new mail item is delivered, stored mail and Messages can also be received.

When stored mail is received by your i-mode compatible mobile phone, the original mail stored in the
i-mode center is deleted. Received mail is stored in your i-mode compatible mobile phone.

Extremely large mail messages may not be accepted by the i-mode center.

Mail can be sent to up to 10 recipients simultaneously (see p.325).
■ Sending data via i-shot
You can send still images you took with your camera-equipped mobile phone to i-mode compatible
mobile phones, PCs, or other operator’s mobile phones (see p.403).
You do not need to subscribe to i-mode to send i-shot mail.
■ Receiving i-shot mail
i-mode compatible mobile phones can receive still images as mail with an URL that points to the
image when still images taken with a DoCoMo camera-equipped mobile phone are sent.
To receive i-shot mail, you must subscribe to i-mode service.

You can send Short Mail regardless of whether you subscribe to i-mode service or Short Mail service
