Sending Messages to a Pager

Select the Paging mode and press 

(select).

•

When you select the Paging mode, the start code for the selected mode is automatically sent
along with the text message.

Dial the pager.

Use the numeric keys to enter the message.

The touch tones are sent to the pager.

•

When calling a DoCoMo display-type pager, you will hear instructions (in Japanese) followed by
a series of beeps. Enter a message using numbers and symbols and press 

twice. You can

press 

to skip the voice prompt instructions.

•

Note that if you do not enter the message within a specified amount of time, the call will be
considered to have no message.

Your mova can send touch tones to a pager as numeric messages.

Selecting the Paging mode

Code settings used when sending messages to DoCoMo QUICKCAST differ depending on the
other party’s subscriber contract.

* In January 2001, DoCoMo’s pager (Pocket Bell) was renamed “QUICKCAST”.
