Please note the following:

・

Speak to the microphone from 5 to 50 cm distance (in Open Shoot), or 5 to 20 cm (in Close

Shoot).

・

The voice recognition accuracy drops in noisy places. If your voice is not recognized, try to

speak again with your mova closer (this is more effective than speaking louder).

・

There are possibilities that the Voice shutter might not function well due to less accurate voice

recognition. Use the shutter button when you want to make sure you do not miss a shot.

・

Using an earphone/microphone can make it hard to recognize the voice.

•

The Voice shutter is unavailable when the display is other than the photography screen; for
example, while saving the still image, recording a video clip, or setting options, etc.

•

Voice Shutter is disabled if the Voice shutter is off.

•

Auto Timer can be used simultaneously.

Taking still images or video using Voice Shutter

Taking video clips

Display the Video Photography screen.

Speak the voice data registered.

Your voice matches to the registered data, and the video recording starts.

•

The voice shutter cannot stop video recording. Wait till the maximum recording time (30 seconds
approx.) has elapsed, or press 

(stop) or 

to stop in Open Shoot or Close Shoot,

respectively.

Taking still images

Display the Still Image Photography screen.

Speak the voice data registered.

Your voice matches to the registered voice data, and a still image is captured.

•

In a noisy environment, it is hard to recognize the voice. In such a case, select “best approximation”.

N o t e

•

Depending on the registered word or the environment when registering the voice,the Voice shutter may be
activated responding to surrounding sounds or similar words.
Particularly, it is liable to respond in cases when a short word is registered or in the environment with much
noise.

•

Voice Shutter may be disabled just after shooting.
Execute capturing after a moment (max. 2 seconds approx.)
