Clipping a recording

You can clip and save a portion of the recording. The clipped recording will be saved
as a separate recording.

•

You can perform this operation while the mova is opened.

•

You cannot operate by the recording saved to the

Memory Stick Duo.

To specify the range to clip while playing back the recording

Press (play).
The recorded sound is played back.

•

When you press

, the recorded sound moves forward by 1 second. Pressing and

holding down it, forward the recording. When you press

, the recorded sound moves

back by 1 second. Pressing and holding down it rewind the recording.

(pause) at the beginning of the sound to clip and press

(set).

(pause) at the end of the sound to clip and press

(set).

To specify the range to clip without playing back the recording

If you know the duration of the recording to clip, you can specify the range without playing back
the sound.

Select “YES” and press

The clipped range is saved in Voice Recorder.

•

The saving date and time of the clipped recording is used for the title.

To cancel the operation, select “NO”.

When “reject calls” is set for “set calls”

The recording continues.

When a call is received, the phone neither rings nor vibrates. Calls are recorded in Call History and the
Missed Call icon appears. The caller hears a busy signal and the call is disconnected.

•

When mail or Messages are received, the phone neither rings nor vibrates. When Voice Recorder ends,
the new mail/Message icon appears. When mail and Messages have not been received, you can perform
Check New Message to receive them.

•

When a specified time of Easy Timer/Alarm Time/Schedule arrives, the alarm does not sound.
