Display the received mail.

Select “mail” and press (select).
The prompt appears asking whether to quit the function in use (Site Display).

Select “YES” and press (select).
The Inmail box folder list appears.

Displaying new i-mode mail (see p.334).

To cancel the operation, select “NO”.
■ To not display mail
Press (return) to return to the screen indicating that session is completed. To return to the
Standby screen from the session completed screen, select “end” from the submenu or press .
•
Alternatively, you can press and hold down (return) in the message reception screen or
session completed screen.
•
When a specified period (ring time of mail ri 10 seconds approx.) elapses without any
action, the message reception screen disappears and the session completed screen reappears.
In this case,
appears when the mova returns to the Standby screen (see p.332).
Check New Message
Checking for Mail at the i-mode Center

When checking for new messages is completed, the message reception
screen appears.
•
If no mail or Messages are stored, the message “no new messages”
appears.
•
Alternatively, press and hold down in standby to execute Check New
Message.
•
Alternatively, you can press twice to execute it.
•
You can also select “mail” “check MSG” from the sub-display menu to
execute it.
In standby, select “check new MSG” from the i-mode menu or “check new
MSG” from the mail menu.
You can receive mail stored in the i-mode center.
•
By default, if you execute Check New Message, mail, Message R and Message F are all
checked. You can change the setting (see p.379).

Maximum number of mail items and length of time they can be stored at the i-mode center (see p.320)

Once your mova has received i-mode mail, the mail items stored at the i-mode center are deleted.
Received mail is then saved in the Inmail box of your mova.
•
Even when Receive Option is on, if you execute Check New Message, you may receive unwanted mail
since all of mail items stored in the i-mode center are received. If you do not want to receive unwanted mail
items, change the setting so that the mail check is not made (see p.379).
•
When mail is received, it is recorded in the Inmail history (see p.359).
