The received mail list appears.
•
Alternatively, you can select “1. list” from the submenu after selecting a
folder.
•
Enter your 4-digit terminal ID number when the folder is set as secret. (This
is not required if you already entered the terminal ID number to release Mail
Security.)
•
When you select the i-

ppli mail folder, the corresponding mail interlocked
type i- α ppli starts.
Select a folder and press (select).

When Mail Security is on, you must enter your
4-digit terminal ID number.
■ If you receive mail while operating
When mail is received in the following situations, a prompt appears asking whether to quit the
function in use. Select “YES” and press
(select) to quit the function and display the
received mail (The content being edited is not saved). To return to the screen that was
displayed before receiving the mail without displaying the received mail, select “NO”:
•
While displaying sites, Screen memos or received mail items
•
While taking images
•
While displaying an editing screen, such as the Phonebook entry screen or compose mail
screen
In the message reception screen, select “mail” and press (select).

The call indicator flashes while receiving mail or while the mail ringtone is playing. You can specify the
color of the call indicator and whether or not it flashes (see p.219).
•
When Recall Indicator is on, the call indicator keeps flashing until you display the new mail.
•
When mail you have not received still remains in the i-mode center for certain reasons such as that there is
no room left in the Inmail box, if the message reception screen is automatically switched to the Standby
screen or the screen displayed prior to reception,
appears on the Standby screen.
•
If you do not receive any mail or Messages and no new mail or Messages are stored in the i-mode center,
then
does not appear even when you automatically return from the message reception screen to the
Standby screen or to the screen displayed prior to reception.
•
If i-mode mail that contains “
チャットメール
” (single-byte) or “
チャットメール
” (double-byte) as the subject and
whose sender is set as a chat member is received, the chat ringtone sounds. For details about chat mail
reception, see p.389.
•
When mail is received, it is recorded in the Inmail history (see p.359).
