Setting Groups, Ringtones and Colors (continued)

Using

the
Phonebook

Group

•

If the Basic setting screen is not displayed, use

to display it.

Step 2 Set the group name and colors (Basic setting screen).

Enter the group name.

Select the “group name” field and press

(select).

Use

to delete unnecessary characters and enter the group name (up to 17 single-

byte or 8 double-byte characters).

•

You cannot save a group name that does not contain any characters.

Set the group color.

Select the “group color” field and press

(select).

Select a color and press

(select).

Set the auto save in the Private diary.

Select the “diary link” field and press

(select).

Select “yes” or “no” and press

(select).

•

Auto Link to Diary can also be used for settings (see p.258).

Save the settings.

You can save calls log and mail by group in the daily diary screen of the
Private diary automatically.

You can set the group name.

You can select one of 10 colors for the background of the call reception screen.
