Each copied data item is registered or saved in the corresponding function of the mova. Some data
types may be partially deleted or replaced when copied.
•
Folders cannot be copied.
Sent/unsent mail
Phonebook
•
Mail is saved in the Outmail box in the built-in memory. Short mail is also saved in
the Outmail box.
•
The maximum number that can be saved in the built-in memory: up to 200 items.
• Up to 10 Multi-address transmission recipients can be copied.
•
When Mail Sorting is set, mail is devided into folders.
• Mail is automatically saved when its group is set Auto Link to Diary in the Private diary.
• Data is copied to the Phonebook in the built-in memory.
•
The maximum number that can be saved in the built-in memory: up to 1,000 items.
(Phone numbers and mail addresses: up to 1,000 items each.)

Data is copied after replacing the following from its contents:

Secret memory is set to “no”.
·
Only the icons are copied. Other icons become .

When overwriting, phonebook entries are copied using the same Memory numbers
which are assigned when they are copied/moved to the
Memory Stick Duo from
the mova. If the same Memory number is used in the mova, free Memory number
is assigned to data.
When copying, the smallest available memory number is assigned to that data.
Data to be copied
Camera album
Description
• Images are copied to “camera album” in the built-in memory. However, images
that cannot be handled by the D506i as still images in camera are copied to
“import album” in the built-in memory. (For details about conditions for images that
can be copied to “import album”, see the description of Import album.)
• The images that can be saved under “camera album” are JPEG images less than
980 KB.
• Those images that can be saved under neither “camera album” nor “import album”
cannot be copied.
• The maximum number that can be saved in “camera album” of the built-in
memory: up to about 30 to 1000 items.*
Received mail

Mail is copied to the Inmail box in the built-in memory.
• The maximum number that can be saved in the built-in memory: up to 2,000 items.

Mail is copied after removing the following from its contents:

About copying data from the
Memory Stick Duo
To copy the data saved in “ Memory Stick Duo” to the mova, you can choose the
following methods:
Operation Description
Copies all data in a folder to the mova. You can select copying or overwriting.
Copy 1 Copies single data items each to the mova.
Edit image copy
Copies the still images of Camera album to the mova after trimming or reduction
(see p.500).
