When Easy Timer has been set
•
When the set time elapses during a call, you cannot hear the other party’s voice while the alarm sounds
and/or the phone vibrates.
•
During a call, when you set “step up” or “step down” for “alarm volume”, the alarm sounds at alarm volume
level 4.
•
The set time has elapsed while Keypad Lock is active, the alarm screen is not displayed, and the alarm
and the phone does not inform the time. The Easy Timer setting is canceled after that.
•
Easy Timer is canceled when the power is turned off after setting it. It does not work even if the power is
turned on again.
•
When the set time has elapsed in standby or during a call, the alarm screen is displayed
and the alarm sounds or the phone vibrates. Press
(OK) or wait about 20 seconds
for the alarm to end. (Alternatively, you can press any Side key to end the alarm.)
•
When the set time elapses during any of the following, the previous screen reappears
after an alarm sound or vibration:
• While displaying an editing screen, such as the Phonebook entry screen or compose
mail screen
• While displaying sites, Screen memos or received/sent/unsent mail items
• While taking a still image or video clip
• While starting Barcode Reader • While sending i-shot, etc.
Set an alarm volume level.

Select the “alarm volume” field and then press (select).

When you select “link adjust volume”, the alarm sounds at the alarm volume level set using
Set Sound.

Easy Timer is set.
•
The timer starts the moment you press (store).

Set the vibrator.

Select the “vibrator” field and press (select).

Select a pattern and press (select).
•
Each time you change the pattern using , the phone vibrates according to the selected
pattern. To stop vibration in the middle, press any numeric key.
•
Select “off” to turn vibration off.
•
When you select “link vibrator”, the phone vibrates according to the pattern set for “alarm
tone” using Vibrator.

In Manner Mode, the phone vibrates according to the vibrator setting of Easy Timer regardless of the
vibrator setting of Manner Mode Selection. (The alarm does not sound.)
•
The alarm does not sound while in Drive Mode.
•
When the “vibrator” setting of Easy Timer is set to “off”, the phone does not vibrate at the setting time even
if the vibrator setting (see p.115) is “on”.
•
does not appear on the Standby screen even if Easy Timer is set.
•
When Easy Timer, Alarm Time, and Schedule are all set to the same time, Easy Timer operates, then
Alarm Time and finally Schedule, in that order.
•
You can set whether to play the entire melody (play all) or play the part of a melody (play point) when you
are playing a melody set as an alarm tone, or playing it to select a melody (see p.533).
