•
You can change the Auto Timer counts (in seconds) (see p.154).
•
You can perform the setting with the mova open, and close it and take still images or video with
the new settings.
•
The setting is valid until shooting is completed.

In the Still Image Photography screen or the Video Photography screen, select
“auto timer on” from the photography menu.
Auto Timer is turned on.
•
To disable the Auto timer, select “auto timer off”.

Press while the Still Image Photography screen or the Video Photography
screen is displayed.
Auto Timer is turned on.

Alternatively, you can select “autotimer on” from the submenu to turn it on.
•
To cancel it, press again or select “autotimeroff” from the submenu.
Taking still images or video clips

Point the camera at the subject and press for Close Shoot, or press
(photo) or (record) for Open Shoot.
•
For Still Image Photography, the Auto Timer sound is played, and after about 5 seconds, the
shutter sound is emitted, and then the still image is captured and saved.
•
For Video Photography, the Auto Timer sound is played, and after about 5 seconds, the
recording start sound is emitted, and then the recording starts.
The subsequent procedure is the same as that for normal photography.
•
To cancel the shooting during the Auto Timer operation, press for Close Shoot, or
(cancel) for Open Shoot.
•
When you set Auto Timer to 10 seconds, the Auto Timer sound plays for the last 5 seconds of
the countdown.
•
You cannot change the Camera settings during the Auto Timer operation. Additionally, you cannot switch
between Close Shoot and Open Shoot.
•
During the Auto Timer operation, the Camera Status indicator flashes blue.
