If an item has a number such as or , you can press the corresponding numeric key to select items.
(You can use “ ” and “#” in the same manner.)
For example, to select , press instead of selecting an item with and pressing (select).

This function may not available on some sites.

The menu of news sites appears.
•
When an entire page does not fit on one screen, use to move the
display range. You can press to switch displays on a screen-by-
screen basis.
Select “ News/Info” and press (select).

Select the desired item and press (select) to
display the corresponding i-mode site.

Select “ ○○ News” and press (select).

The i-mode site closes and the Standby screen appears.

Alternatively, you can press to quit site display. Select “YES” at the prompt screen and
press (select).

You can also press and hold down (return) to quit site display. (When is grayed out,
it cannot be used.)

When you finish browsing a site, the mova enters i-mode standby and the i-mode icon ( )
continues blinking. For details about disconnecting from i-mode immediately, see p.274.

Return to the Standby screen to make a phone call. If the phone is in i-mode standby, the ring back tone
is heard after a beep beep beep sound. (The call may be cut off at this point.)

You can answer the phone during i-mode communication, such as when viewing a site. The previous
screen appears when the call ends. You can set to not receive incoming calls during i-mode
communication or in i-mode standby (see p.299).
