Select “YES” and press

The received mail is saved together with the image.

•

You can select “NO” to save the mail with the original URL and without the image.

When 10 Image mail items are already saved together with images

The prompt appears asking whether to overwrite the existing Image mail item.

To overwrite, select “YES” and press

(select).

The received mail is saved together with the image. Images in unprotected Image mail are
returned to the URL, beginning with the oldest mail item by the date/time of downloading.

•

Select “NO” to save the currently displayed mail in the status it was in prior to receiving the
image.

•

When all 10 saved Image mail items are protected, you cannot overwrite any data. If you
want to save a new Image mail item, first unprotect saved Image mail items.

Delete an image to return it to its URL.

•

Images in protected Image mail cannot be deleted.

•

When there is more than one image in a mail item, you can delete them all at once or selectively.

Deleting images

Display Image mail and select “DEL image” from the submenu.

•

Image mail is indicated by

,

or

in the received mail list.

Select “1.all images” and press

(select).

The image is deleted.

•

To cancel the operation, select “3. no”.

•

If the image has been deleted from the saved Image mail, a prompt appears asking whether to
change the displayed content when the Image mail is closed. Select “YES” and press

(select) to save the mail item without the image. Select “NO” to save it with the image.

To delete a selected image from among multiple images

•

When the Image Download setting is set to “automatic”, the image data can be automatically received
when Image mail is displayed (see p.383).

•

When received mail contains an image whose URL is “http://~.jpg” or “https://~.gif”, the image can be
displayed using the Web to function (see p.298).
However, mail that includes these types of images cannot be saved as Image mail which is saved together
with the image.
