In standby, select “useful function”

“receive via IR”

“1.receive” from

the menu.

Operate the sending device to send the data.

Data is received.

•

You can stop receiving data by pressing

(cancel) while in standby or during receiving.

•

When data is not received within about 60 seconds after “YES” is selected, the Standby screen
appears.

•

Depending on the infrared communication devices of sending side, the authentication password
entry screen may appear before data is received. Follow Step 4 in

Receiving all data items

(see p.476).

Select “YES” and press

(select).

Data is saved.

•

Enter the 4-digit terminal ID number when the terminal ID number entry screen appears.

•

To cancel the operation, select “NO”.

The phone is now ready to receive data.

Reception cannot be executed when the maximum number of data items that can be saved reached or
there is not enough free space to save. Delete unnecessary data and perform the operation again from the
beginning.

Depending on the infrared communication devices of sending side, the mova may stay in standby though the data
has already been saved

. Pressing

(cancel) ends the connection.
