■ To search through the Phonebook

Select the entry location and select "directory" from the submenu.
The list of the Phonebook entries appear.

Alternatively, you can select “1. directory” in Step
3
in ■ To manually enter a mail address.
•
If “me” is selected, you cannot select it.
•
You can change the search type and specify a search criteria. Operating procedure is the
same as when searching the Phonebook in standby (Phone No. search, however, is not
available) (see p.103).
•
To search for a recipient stored in Secret memory, switch to the Secret search (see p.109).

Select a mail address and press (select).
The mail address is set, and the editing screen reappears.
■ To set mail addresses from a mail group
You can set members of a mail group in unused locations.

Select “mail group” from the submenu.
The mail group list appears.
•
When the mail group including Phonebook entries set as secret, enter your 4-digit terminal
ID number.

Select a mail group and press (select).
Mail addresses are set and the beginnings of the addresses appear.
•
If the total number of the Chat members already set and the ones registered in the mail
group exceeds 10, you cannot set the Chat member from the mail group.

Select the registered Chat member and press (edit).
The edit screen appears.
3 Set a Chat name.
Set the name to be displayed in the Chat mail screen. If none is entered, the beginning of the mail
address appears.
•
You can change the Chat name of “me”.

Select the “chat name” field and press (select).

Enter a Chat name (up to 6 single-byte or 3 double-byte characters).
4 Set a color.
Set the color used for the Chat mail screen.

You can also set the color of “me”.

If you specify no color, select “no color”.
5 Press (store)
The Chat member is set.
