You need to recharge fully, be at the location with good signal condition, and display the
Standby screen before the reserved date and time of Software Update. At the reserved
date and time, the screen on the left appears and software is updated automatically.
Follow Steps 6 - 7 in

Updating software immediately (see p.617).

When reserved date and time has come

In about 5 seconds or pressing

(OK), Software Update automatically starts.

•

If the Standby screen does not appear at the reserved date and time, return to the Standby screen and
the above screen appears.

•

Even if you return to the Standby screen after the reserved day and time, software may not be updated.

•

If an alarm or another function is set at the same date and time as the reserved ones, Software Update
starts after an alarm finishes sounding.

•

The reservation will be disabled, if the battery of the mova is exhausted at the reserved date and time of
Software Update or if you turn the mova off after the reserved day and time.

•

When you receive a call while you execute Steps 1 - 4 in

Reserved Update or Step 2 in Checking,

changing, and canceling a reserved updating date and time, you can answer the call (depending on the
Call Reception setting during i-mode). When you end the call, the previous screen reappears. If the i-mode
center receives mail or Messages after you finish operation,

appears on the Standby screen in case

you set i-mode Host to “

ﾄﾞｺﾓ

”. Execute Check New Message or Mail Optional Reception to receive mail or

Messages (see p.338, 337).
