Image Mail

Using i-mode Mail to Send Images

You can compose i-mode mail with an address (URL) for image data by selecting an
image at an i-mode or Internet web site (Compose Image Mail). When you send Image
mail to i-mode compatible mobile phones that support Image mail, the recipient can
download and display the image.

•

Only images whose URL is “http://~.gif” can be sent as Image mail. Note that it may not be
possible to select some images even when the image is displayed.

Display a site that contains an image, and select “image mail” from the
submenu.

The compose mail screen appears. The image URL is entered in the mail
body.

•

You cannot select images other than those that can be sent using Image
mail.

Select an image and press 

(select).

Enter the recipient mail address, subject and mail text and send the mail.

•

Follow Steps 2 - 5 in 

Composing and Sending i-mode Mail (see p.322).

•

If the site does not contain images that can be sent, “image mail” cannot be
selected.

The selected image is surrounded by a frame.

•

When you know the URL for an image, you can enter the URL directly in the text body of the i-mode mail.
