When all data is sent/received, the same type of data existing on the receiving side is
deleted and replaced with the received data.
An authentication password is required to send/receive all data. Determine a 4-digit
password and enter the same password on the sending and receiving sides.
•
Infrared communication cannot be performed directly after a phone call. Wait a while before
starting data transfer.
•
Phonebook entries cannot be sent while Phonebook Access Lock is set. While Phonebook
Access Lock, Phonebook Store Lock, Phonebook Delete Lock, or Keydial Lock is set,
Phonebook entries cannot be received.
•
When i-mode Lock is set, Bookmarks, received or sent/unsent mail data cannot be sent or
received.
•
If the Clock setting has not been set, Schedule entries and ToDo list items cannot be received.
•
Protection is canceled before data is sent.
Sending from D506i Receiving with D506i Sent or received data
inmail • Mail is saved in the Inmail box.
• The maximum number that can be saved:
2000 items.
• When Divided mail items are received, they
are saved as individual mail item. The “[2/4]”
indication displayed in the mail body is no
longer displayed and the mail cannot be
displayed in sequence. However, it can be
understood to be Divided mail by the “(1/4)”
indication at the beginning of the subject.
• When the Mail Sorting setting is activated,
mail is sorted into folders.
• Mail is automatically saved when its group
is set Auto Link to Diary in the Private
diary.
• Short Mail items are saved as i-mode mail.
• Mail is sent after removing the following
from its contents:
· Melodies that cannot be attached
· i-

· Images in Image mail (images are
returned to the URL of image data)

• Mail is saved in the Outmail box. Short Mail
items are also saved in the Outmail box.
• The maximum number that can be saved:
200 items.
• Up to 10 recipients can be saved for a mail
item sent using Multi-address transmission.
• When the Mail Sorting setting is activated,
mail is sorted into folders.
• Mail is automatically saved when its group
is set Auto Link to Diary in the Private
diary.
• When your model sends sent mail and
unsent mail separately, send sent mail first
and unsent mail in order. If this order is
reversed, unsent mail are deleted.
• Mail is sent after removing the following
from its contents:
· Melodies that cannot be attached
· Still images in i-shot mail
• i-shot mail is sent as i-mode mail.
• When mail is sent to terminals other than
D506i, unsent mail may become sent mail.

• The 1st item is saved in Own Number
Display and the 2nd and following items
are saved in the Phonebook in the same
Memory numbers as they were sent.
(When you receive items from other than
D506i, they may be given assigned
Memory numbers in received order.)
• The maximum number that can be saved:
1000 items (Phone numbers and mail
addresses: up to 1000 items each)
• Data is saved after replacing the following
from its contents:
· Group names all become “group 00”.
· Only the

• Phone numbers and mail addresses that
are saved in Set Mail Group or Accept/
Reject Calls are canceled.
• The saved content of Own Number Display
is sent as the 1st item. For the 2nd and
following items are sent in order of Memory
numbers.

· Images · Addresses · Memos
· Settings for each person
· Icons of mail addresses
· Photo Call · Secret settings
• Data is sent after replacing the following
from its contents:
· Group names all become “group 00”.
· Only the icons are sent.
