Reversal of the heat source sequence
The lead heat source is the first heat source to be put into operation when there is de-
mand for heat.
It is automatically defined when selecting a basic diagram.
The lead heat source only has an influence in the case of parallel or partial-parallel op-
eration.

The display has the following meaning:
---
No lead heat source (no basic diagram, or selected basic diagram has no con-
trollable heat source)
1
Oil- / gas-fired boiler is the lead heat source
2
Heat pump is the lead heat source
3
The controllable* wood-fired boiler is the lead heat source
* “controllable” refers to a wood-fired boiler that can be controlled via contact K3, such
as a boiler burning wood chips or pellets
The controller analyzes the selected basic diagram with regard to its heat source com-
bination and, based on this analysis, automatically defines the lead boiler.
This is made based on the following table:

Noncontrollable heat sources (e.g. solar collectors or a noncontrollable wood-fired
boiler) have no influence on the heat source sequence.
The heat source sequence can be reversed by pressing the + / - buttons (lead heat
source becomes the lag heat source, and vice versa).
The
lead heat source
is put into operation as soon as there is demand for heat which
exceeds the amount of heat available in the system (e.g. in the buffer storage tank).
The lead heat source must be released according to the outside temperature (operating
lines 630 through 632).
The
lag heat source
will be switched on only when the amount of heat delivered by the
lead heat source no longer meets the demand.
This is checked with the release integral (operating line 622).
