Only digital peripheral devices can be connected to the controller. The digital devices
transmit to the controller an identification code in agreement with the type of device.
The type of device can be identified with the help of the list given below.

•
When the LCD displays a PPS address with an identification code, the communica-
tion with the respective device is error-free
•
When the LCD displays
- - -,
there is no communication or the communication is faulty
•
Incompatible devices will not be displayed and produce error code 145 (operating
line 50)
Setpoint / actual value of the common flow
•
Knowledge of the setpoints and current temperatures at the various temperature
sensors
•
Better overview of plant’s operating state
4.52 Display of the common flow temperature
setpoint
The common flow temperature setpoint will automatically be displayed on this operating
line.

Unit
0...140 °C
The setpoint can only be displayed, but not changed. The function helps better under-
stand the control sequences taking place in the controller.
The displayed setpoint is generated based on the different heat demand signals re-
ceived from the system. These are:
•
Demand for heat from the controller’s internal heating circuits based on the outside
temperature
•
Demand for heat from the external heating circuits (system)
•
Demand for heat for d.h.w. (from inside the controller or externally)
•
Demand for heat via input H1
•
Demand for heat resulting from protective functions (e.g. frost protection for the
plant)
•
Demand for heat by pressing the button for manual operation
The highest of the setpoints received is shown on the display as the flow temperature
setpoint.
