Description of the heating engineer settings
18.10.2002
Automatic heat transfer is released in the following situations:
0
For frost protection only
Heat transfer takes place only when the d.h.w. storage tank temperature falls
below the frost protection temperature.
1
According to the d.h.w. release (operating line 771)
Heat transfer takes place only when the demanded d.h.w. setpoint is the nomi-
nal setpoint.
There will be no heat transfer when the reduced d.h.w. setpoint equals the cur-
rent setpoint.
2 Always
Heat transfer is always released. Activation is solely dependent on the tem-
perature criteria (refer to “Functioning” on page 203).
If the reduced d.h.w. setpoint equals the current setpoint, heat transfer takes
place only as long as the buffer tank storage temperature does not lie below
the value of the slave pointer.
4.176 Heat transfer temperature differential ON
Defines the temperature differential between buffer storage tank sensor B4 and the
selected d.h.w. storage tank sensor (operating line 530) that is required for triggering
automatic heat transfer.

When the temperature differential is reached and the other criteria are satisfied (refer to
“Functioning” on page 203), the pump (Q3 or Q11) selected on operating line 531 will
be activated.
4.177 Heat transfer temperature differential OFF
Defines the temperature differential between buffer storage tank sensor B4 and the
selected d.h.w. storage tank sensor (operating line 530) that is decisive for deactivating
automatic heat transfer.

When the temperature differential drops below the value set here, automatic heat
transfer will be stopped. The pump (Q3 or Q11) selected on operating line 531 will be
deactivated.
