5.20 Hysteresis for maximum limitation of the
collector temperature
•
Adjustable hysteresis for maximum limitation of the collector temperature
The switch-off point for the collector pump can be set via a hysteresis. When there are
2 collectors, the same hysteresis will apply to both collectors.

When maximum limitation of the collector temperature is reached, the collector pump
will be switched on and switched off again via the hysteresis (if a diverting valve is
used, it will be driven to the respective position).

5.21 Collector frost protection temperature
•
Adjustable temperature for frost protection for the collector
Frost protection for the collector prevents the collector(s) from freezing at low outside
temperatures. When there are 2 collectors, the setting applies to both.

Frost protection for the controller is switched off.
For plants with sufficient amounts of glycol added.
-20...5 Frost protection for the collector is switched on.
For plants with little or no glycol added to the collector circuit.
If the temperature at the collector sensor falls below the adjusted level,
the collector pump will be activated and the bypass valve driven to the required
position so that heat from the storage tank is supplied to the solar system.
As soon as the temperature at the collector sensor lies 1 K above the adjusted
value, the collector pump will be deactivated while observing an overrun time
of one minute.
