D.h.w. heating
4.193 Heat source strategy for d.h.w. heating
•
For d.h.w. heating, the behavior of the individual heat sources can be selected
The setting defines the behavior of the plant when there is demand for d.h.w. heating.

Factory setting
1...5 –
1
When there is demand for d.h.w., the demand signal is passed to the heat source that
is in charge of d.h.w. heating. The setting defines the heat source in charge and also
the way another heat source shall behave in that case.
1
D.h.w. according to the current heat source sequence
D.h.w. will be heated with the current lead heat source, provided it is released.
If the output of the lead heat source is not sufficient for d.h.w. heating, the lag
heat source will also be switched on, provided it is released.
If the lead heat source is not released, the lag heat source will provide d.h.w.
heating.
2
D.h.w. heating with lag heat source /
space heating with lead heat source
D.h.w. heating is provided by the lag heat source.
For that, the lag heat source will be released, if it was not released before.
The lead heat source continues to heat to the setpoint for space heating.
3
D.h.w. heating with lag heat source /
lead heat source during d.h.w. heating OFF
D.h.w. heating is provided by the lag heat source.
For that, the lag heat source will be released, if it was not released before.
The lead heat source will be switched off.
4
D.h.w. heating with lag heat source, if released / space heating with lead
heat source
D.h.w. heating is provided by the lag heat source, if released according on the
outside temperature (operating lines 630 through 632).
The lead heat source continues to heat to the setpoint for space heating.
If the lag heat source is not released, the lead heat source will adopt the set-
point for d.h.w. heating.
5
D.h.w. heating with lag heat source, if released /
lead heat source during d.h.w. heating OFF
D.h.w. heating is provided by the led heat source, if released according to the
outside temperature (operating lines 630 through 632).
The lead heat source will be switched off.
If the lag heat source is not released, the lead heat source will be switched on
to adopt the setpoint for d.h.w. heating.
