4.167 Priority of buffer storage tank cooling
through delivery of heat for space heating
The priority of the cooling function can be selected (OFF / priority 1 / priority 2).
When the selected priority is released, a forced heat intake signal will be sent to the
consumers (heating circuits and H1). The excess heat will then be delivered to space
heating by activating the heating circuit pump(s). If a system pump (ZuFu6, operating
lines 149 and 195) has been defined, that pump will also be activated.

The effect depends on the type of heating circuit: pump or mixing heating circuit, con-
troller-internal heating circuit, or heating circuits connected via LPB:
The pumps of all pump heating circuits (controller-internal and LPB) will be put into op-
eration.
The forced signal raises the flow temperature setpoint of the mixing heating circuits.
With the forced signal, the flow temperature setpoint of the controller-internal mixing
heating circuit will be raised considerably more than that of the heating circuits con-
nected via LPB.
If
all
heating surfaces are equipped with thermostatic controls, additional heat can only
be drawn off to a limited extent.
The cooling function will be stopped as soon as the selected priority is no longer re-
leased (refer to mode of operation on page 195).
This function is only active in winter operation.
