4.212 Outside temperature for start and end of lift
of the reduced room temperature setpoint
When the outside temperature approaches the heating system’s design temperature,
the system’s reserve capacity becomes smaller and smaller. As a result, heating up
from the reduced to the nominal room temperature setpoint takes more time.
To prevent this, the reduced room temperature setpoint is appropriately raised when
outside temperatures are low.

Operating lines 733 and 734 define the switching points for the start and end of lift of
the reduced room temperature setpoint.
Defines the
start
of lift of the reduced room temperature setpoint.
Between the 2 temperatures set on operating lines 733 and 734, the reduced room
temperature setpoint will be raised in a linear fashion.
Defines the
end
of lift of the reduced room temperature setpoint.
At this outside temperature, the reduced room temperature setpoint will be raised to the
level of the nominal room temperature setpoint.
