4.26 Output “Overtemperature protection K11 /
K¯11” (ZuFu9)
•
Triggering an action to carry away and, if possible, use surplus energy if the amount
of energy available exceeds the amount of energy that can be stored
When the storage tank is fully charged and, at the same time, the solar collector or the
wood-fired boiler is able to deliver heat, the surplus energy can be drawn off the stor-
age tank.

The auxiliary function is activated as soon as output K11 and / or K¯11 is assigned a
free terminal:
Operating line 152 (relay assignment):
101...110 Output
K11
can be assigned to a free relay terminal between Q101
and Q110.
--- No
assignment
made.
Operating line 153 (relay assignment for the inverted signal):
101...110 The
inverted
signal
K¯11
can be assigned to a free relay terminal be-
tween Q101 and Q110.
It is required for the control of 2-wire actuators, for example (in addi-
tion to K11). As soon as relay K11 is deenergized, relay K¯11 will be
energized with a delay of 1 second, and vice versa.
--- No
assignment
made.
The controller closes the contact when the conditions according to the selected priori-
ties are satisfied (refer to operating lines 494 and 544).
The contact can be used, for example, to provide collector shading or to activate an
additional pump or a diverting valve to carry surplus heat from the storage tank to a
swimming pool.
Overtemperature protection is integrated in the connection diagram as follows:
