Description of the heating engineer settings

Heat exchanger (1 or 2) in the buffer storage tank
As soon as the temperature acquired with sensor B43 reaches a level that lies 2 K be-
low the maximum buffer storage tank charging temperature (operating line 472), the
diverting valve will change to “throughput” and the rest of the storage tank will also be
charged. If the temperature at sensor B43 drops 4 K below the maximum buffer storage
tank charging temperature, the diverting valve will change back to “angle” (partial stor-
age tank charging).
As a result, the lower part of the storage tank will be enabled to accept heat from the
solar collectors as long as possible.
Auxiliary function 11 (third buffer storage tank sensor) and auxiliary function 2 (partial
storage tank charging) can be active
at the same time
. If the same storage tank sen-
sor shall be used for both functions, the relevant sensor must be connected in parallel
to both terminals.
Partial storage tank charging (buffer storage tank) can be integrated in the diagram as
follows:
