5.64 D.h.w. discharge protection when charging
with the oil- / gas-fired boiler
Prevents inadvertent discharging of the d.h.w. storage tank by cold water from the oil- /
gas-fired boiler or the buffer storage tank.

The setting defines the sensors to be used for discharge protection:
0
Protection against discharging is deactivated.

Supervision of sensor B2 of the oil- / gas-fired boiler.

Supervision of sensor B2 of the oil- / gas-fired boiler and of the respective buffer
storage tank sensor.
The temperatures acquired with the selected sensors are compared with the “Flow
temperature setpoint boost of the d.h.w.” (operating line 776):
•
If at least half the boost value is reached, d.h.w. heating will be
released
•
If the boost value is less than 1/8 of the value set, d.h.w. heating will be
stopped
With setting 2, the release criterion for both sensors must be met.
