Description of the heating engineer settings
18.10.2002
12
Fault heat pump
Release of the heat pump will be negated when input H1 is closed and, in addition,
error message 134 (common heat pump fault via H1) will appear on operating line
50.
13
Fault wood-fired boiler
Error message 211 (fault of wood-fired boiler) will appear on operating line 50
when input H1 is closed.
14
Solar yield measurement
The closing of input H1 is interpreted as a pulse of a connected flow meter. The
pulse valency (number of liters) can be set on operating line 340 (pulse value of
flow meter).
The number of pulses per unit of time gives the current flow rate used for solar
yield measurement (for description, refer to operating line 338 and the following
lines).
If the contact is used as an N.O. contact (standard setting), the selected function will be
activated when the contact closes. When used as an N.C. contact (refer to operating
line 873), the contact must be opened to activate the function.
When using terminal H1 as a contact (settings 1 through 4 and 6 through 13),
several
contacts can be connected in
parallel
. The function will be activated when one or sev-
eral contacts close(s), depending on the selected setting.
When using terminal H1 as a voltage input (setting 5), it is
not
possible to connect sev-
eral signals in parallel
.
When 2 heat demands are received at the same time, one via input H1 (settings 3 + 5)
and a second one (LPB, d.h.w. or controller internally), the highest of them will auto-
matically be selected.
The contacts must be suited for use with extra low voltage (gold-plated)
4.255.1 Changeover of operating mode
(remote telephone switch)
Setting 1 / 2
A remote telephone switch is a potential-free relay contact, e.g. in the form of a modem,
which can be switched by making a phone call plus dialing a code.
The operating mode is changed when the contact connected to terminal H1 (e.g. a re-
mote telephone switch) closes. In that case, the LEDs in the operating mode buttons
and
will flash.
Whether or not d.h.w. heating takes place when the remote telephone switch is acti-
vated depends on the setting made:
Setting 1:
D.h.w. heating is locked when changeover is activated.
Setting 2:
D.h.w. heating remains released when changeover is activated.
Activation of this function will produce different actions, depending on the function of
the controller within the LPB system. Also refer to data sheets “Local Process Bus
(LPB) Basic System Data” (doc. no. CE1N2030E) and “Local Process Bus (LPB) Basic
Engineering Data” (doc. no. CE1N2032E).
The effect depends on the setting made on operating line 855.
