Description of the heating engineer settings
18.10.2002
4.181 Priority of d.h.w. storage tank cooling with
the heat transfer pump
The priority of the cooling function can be selected (OFF / priority 1 / priority 2).
When the selected priority is released and the d.h.w. storage tank temperature lies a
minimum of 6 K above the buffer storage tank temperature, the heat will be carried to
the buffer storage tank via the transfer pump (ZuFu3, Q11).

The transfer of heat will be stopped as soon as the selected priority is no longer re-
leased (refer to mode of operation on page 206), or the temperature differential be-
tween the storage tanks is smaller than 4 K, or the buffer storage tank also has reached
its maximum temperature (MSP).
4.182 Priority of d.h.w. storage tank cooling with
the collector pump
The priority of the cooling function can be selected (OFF / priority 1 / priority 2).
As soon as the selected priority is released and the collector temperature has dropped
below the storage tank temperature by the amount of “Temperature differential ON”
(e.g. during the night or in the case of overcast skies), the heat will be released to the
environment via the solar collectors by activating the collector pump.

The cooling function will be stopped when the selected priority is no longer released
(refer to “Functioning” on page 206) or the collector temperature lies less than “Tem-
perature differential OFF” below the current storage tank temperature.
“Temperature differential ON heat exchanger 1 / 2” (operating lines 329 / 331).
2 K (nonadjustable)
If the storage tank has 2 heat exchangers, the heat exchanger at the bottom will be
used for cooling.
