Description of the heating engineer settings
18.10.2002
If only the inverted signal is required (for a one-wire valve with inverted control logic),
inverted signal K¯8 can be assigned to the terminal with K8. In that case, K8 is re-
placed by K¯8.
The diagram shows the inverted solar heat exchanger diverting valve K¯8 as follows:

Additional inverted signal for the control of a 2-wire valve
The signal for the control of solar diverting valve K9 can be inverted (K¯9) and as-
signed to a free relay terminal.

The auxiliary function will be activated as soon as diverting valve K¯9 is assigned a free
terminal:
101...110
The inverted signal for diverting valve
K¯9
can be assigned to a free
relay terminal between Q101 and Q110.
---
No assignment made and the auxiliary function is not activated.
For a valve with one-wire control, the only signal required is signal K9.
As soon as this valve is deenergized, the valve returns to the initial position.
For a valve with 2-wire control to change back to the initial position, a second inverted
signal (K¯9) is required.
If only the inverted signal is required (for a one-wire valve with inverted control logic),
inverted signal K¯9 can be assigned to the terminal with K9. In that case, K9 is re-
placed by K¯9.
