The actuator running time is the period of time the actuator requires to travel from one
end position to the other.

5.19 Maximum limitation of the collector
temperature

The maximum temperature permitted at collector 1 and collector 2 can be individu-
ally adjusted
The collector pump is switched off when the storage tank reaches its maximum charg-
ing temperature. If, subsequently, the collector temperature exceeds the maximum
collector temperature, charging of the storage tank continues until the adjusted storage
tank safety temperature is reached.

When the maximum limitation of the collector temperature is reached, the maximum
storage tank charging temperature will be negated (for buffer storage tanks operating
line 472, for d.h.w. storage tanks operating line 523), and the collector pump will be
activated until the storage tank reaches its safety temperature.

The collector pump will be switched on and off based on an adjustable hysteresis (refer
to operating line 302
EXP
).
When using 2 storage tanks, the surplus collector energy is delivered to the storage
tank that has the lowest temperature.
As soon as that storage tank is 5 K warmer than the other, the other storage tank will
be charged until it is 5 K warmer than the first. That process repeats itself until the
safety temperature of both storage tanks is reached.
When maximum limitation of the collector temperature is switched off, the display
shows “---“.
