Description of the heating engineer settings
18.10.2002
4.255.2 Minimum setpoint of the flow temperature, contact H1
Setting 3
See operating line 871
4.255.3 Heat generation lock oil / gas or heat pump
Setting 4 or 11
The heat sources will be locked when contact H1 is closed (e.g. via ripple control).
All heat demand signals from the heating circuits connected to the LPB and from the
d.h.w. storage tank connected to the RVP540 / RVP550 will be ignored. Frost protec-
tion for the boiler will be maintained.
4.255.4 Heat demand
Setting 5
External consumers can transmit a demand for heat in the form of an analog signal of
DC 0...10 V. The RVP540 / RVP550 converts this voltage signal to a temperature set-
point of 0...130 °C and considers this value when generating the setpoint.

The setpoint for 10 V can be set with the parameter “Maximum value of heat demand”
(operating line 872, setting range 5...130 °C). The voltage corresponding to the dis-
played temperature (input test) can then be calculated as follows:
