4.39 D.h.w. diverting valve Q¯3 (ZuFu26)
•
Additional inverted signal for the control of a 2-wire valve
The signal for the control of d.h.w. diverting valve Q3 can be inverted (Q¯3) and as-
signed to a free relay terminal.

The auxiliary function will be activated as soon as diverting valve Q¯3 is assigned a
free terminal:
101...110
The inverted signal for diverting valve
Q¯3
can be assigned to a free
relay terminal between Q101 and Q110.
---
No assignment made and the auxiliary function is not activated.
For a valve with one-wire control, the only signal required is signal Q3.
As soon as the signal is no longer present, the valve will change over to its initial
position
For a valve with 2-wire control to change over to the initial position, a second inverted
signal (Q¯3) is required.
If only the inverted signal is required (for a one-wire valve with inverted control logic),
the inverted signal Q¯3 can be assigned to terminal Q3. In that case, Q3 will be re-
placed by Q¯3.
The diagram shows the inverted d.h.w. diverting valve Q¯3 as follows:
