4.116 Wood-fired boiler locks other heat sources

Use of the same stack for the wood-fired boiler and the oil- or gas-fired boiler while
excluding simultaneous use

duces heat

Operation of the wood-fired boiler does not lock other heat sources.
For plants where the wood-fired boiler uses a separate stack and the other
heat sources shall operate also when the wood-fired boiler delivers heat.

Operation of the wood-fired boiler locks other controllable heat sources (oil-
fired / gas-fired / electric) as soon as the pump of the wood-fired boiler runs or
the boiler sensor signals a temperature rise of more than 1 K / min.
For plants where the wood-fired boiler uses the same stack as the other heat
sources and / or the controllable heat sources shall be shut down as soon as
the wood-fired boiler delivers heat.
4.117 Frost protection for the plant with the pump
of the wood-fired boiler
“Frost protection for the plant with the pump of the wood-fired boiler” can be switched
on and off.
