4.31 Solar flow temperature sensor B62 (ZuFu13)
In the case of solar collector partial diagrams that use a 3-port valve (example A), the
valve will change to throughput (position 1) only when the required temperature differ-
ential at solar flow sensor B62 is reached and the “Changeover / startup delay” (oper-
ating line 307
EXP
) has elapsed. This ensures that the water in the collector circuit will be
evenly heated up before the actual charging of the storage tank starts.
In the case of solar collector partial diagrams with heat exchanger, solar flow sensor
B62 makes possible the control of the speed-controlled pump based on the collector
flow temperature (example B).
With no auxiliary function 13 (sensor B62), the pump in the respective circuit can only
be activated or deactivated, or the 3-port valve will change over on completion of the
“Changeover / startup delay” based on the temperature acquired by sensor B6.
The solar collector partial diagrams with which solar flow sensor B62 can be used show
the sensor with broken lines.

can be assigned to a free sensor terminal be-
tween B101 and B109.
