Common flow temperature sensor B10 acquires the common flow temperature of the
heat sources. It can be used for different control functions.

The auxiliary function is activated as soon sensor B10 is assigned to a free terminal:

No assignment made and the auxiliary function is not activated.
Using central setpoint compensation, the heat source setpoint will be adjusted such
that the temperature at sensor B10 reaches the required level.
Central setpoint compensation can be activated and deactivated on operating line 804.
Sensor B10 is also used for d.h.w. discharge protection, for control of the electric im-
mersion heater in the buffer storage tank (operating lines 170 and 485), as a control
sensor for the heat pump (operating line 420), and for generation of the release / reset
integral in bivalent-parallel and bivalent-partial parallel operation (operating lines 622
and 623).
The common flow temperature sensor can be integrated into the plant diagram as
follows:
