Resist sensor (REGS) detects leading edge of
original.
(REGS output HIGH)

Original contacts resist rollers and stops.
Document feed motor (DFM) OFF.
Step 25:
Document feed motor (DFM) reverse rotation.
(Resist rollers rotate.)
Leading edge of the original is taken up by the
resist rollers.
Step 26:
Original timing sensor (TIMS) detects leading
edge of original.
(TIMS output HIGH)
Step 27:
Document feed motor (DFM) OFF.
(The original is stopped with its leading edge
taken up by the resist rollers.)
Step 28:
Copier mirror base scanning stops.
(Reverse)
Step 29:
Transport motor (DTM) and delivery motor
