computer and the MODEM (machine side), the self diag 
display (U7-00) is displayed.

2. Press the [SET] key. The new tag No. entered in procedure 1 

is set. It is advisable to enter the machine's serial No. for 
machine management and servicing.

Note: To perform this setting, the host computer and the machine

must be connected through MODEM.
