2. Use "fcopy" command on the PC side to download the 

firmware file.

When the firmware data are normally downloaded and written into 
the Flash ROM, "COMPLETE" is displayed.

In case of an error, the following message is displayed.

∗

When the Flash ROM kind is improper:
 "ROM KIND ERROR" is displayed.

∗

When an error occurs during initializing the Flash ROM:
"FLASH ERROR" is displayed.

∗

When an error occurs during verifying:
"UPDATE ERROR" is displayed.

When the printer NVRAM is normally cleared, "COMPLETE" is 
displayed. In case of an error, "ERROR" is displayed.
