30.1 Overview

The EzPort module is a serial flash programming interface that enables In-System
Programming (ISP) of flash memory contents in a 32-bit general-purpose
microcontroller. Memory contents can be read/erased/programmed from an external
source, in a format that is compatible with many standalone flash memory chips, without
requiring the removal of the microcontroller from the system board.
