Clean the tip using the wire brush supplied with the Startup Kit to remove any debris.

Install a new tip shield by pushing it over the exposed tip, keeping the slotted end
toward the back of the head. See Figure 7-404.
Note: Tip shield should be flush with the tip plate as shown in Figure 7-405.
Insert small standard
screwdriver to pry tip
shields from tips.
